COVID-19 Notice

Due to COVID-19, the Writing and Communication Center will not offer in-person tutoring until further notice.

All tutors are available for online tutoring. During these appointments, you can share your document with us and interact with your tutor via webcam.

To access online tutoring, please log in to the schedule. First-time users will need to register for an account; this system is separate from the log-in information you use to access email and Canvas. Once you log in, click the white square of your choice to fill out an appointment form. After you click "create appointment” at the bottom of the form, the square will turn yellow. At that point, your online appointment is officially scheduled.

To begin your online tutoring session, please log back in to the schedule five minutes before the start of your appointment. Click your yellow appointment slot, and then click the green "Join Online Consultation" link toward the top of the form that pops up. This will start the video chat, so be sure your webcam and microphone are working. Your tutor will join you shortly and explain how to share your document with us. All online appointments are conducted on Central Time.

More information is available at hamline.edu/writingcenter. Please direct questions to writingcenter@hamline.edu.
